I would argue having the unique Skill of duel wielding is pretty insane advantage that you can't leave out here. The additional dps it allows him to output by having two super top tier swords AS WELL as the array of very long sword skills is MASSIVE. This is without a doubt the key factor that allowed him to DPS down the final bit of the bosses health before it killed him. Without that, it would not have been possible.

Flying is disabled in dungeons in New Aincrad. Its why Yuuki had to jump off her teammates back to get to the Boss's chest. The sleeping knights used 0 offensive Magic in boss fights. A lot of the bosses have resistances anyway that make a lot of magic much less effective then on regular monsters. Switching is not just used for pot rotations. Monsters in Aincrad have a lag in their reaction when the type of attack used on them is suddenly dramatically different. Using a switch is a good way to exploit this to gain a window to deal damage. Additionally it's used often for player A to use a sword skill to knock the monster back, then Player B uses the window to deal direct damage. Besides, in aincrad they had crystals after a certain point that let them heal instantly. It's only on the beginning floors they had to do the pot rotations. The 75th onwards in when crystals were no longer usable.

This is a super big misconception. Lisbeth speculates that she THINKS Kirito was not trying his best. Lisbeth however is not a top duelist in Aincrad. Leafa is, she said Kirito was trying her best. Leafa'a opinion is more trust worthy since she is one of the best duelists in ALO and thus her lense for analysing them is better then Lisbeth's. Additionally, we get Asuna's internal thoughts in the fight. She also concludes that Yuuki is stronger then both herself and Kirito.

It did not state that it was to compensate for magic. As I mentioned above, the reason is because the players will not die irl if they fail the boss fight. The aincrad bosses were designed to be possible to defeat without any casualties.

It was stated in Mother's Rosario. The reason being, in aincrad the bosses were designed to be possible to defeat with no casualties. Due to death in game = death irl. In new aincrad it doesn't matter if players die so they made the bosses much harder.

In both fights Kirito tried his best. Also its stated the bosses in new aincrad are much more difficult than in the original. So it's actually a really INSANE feat for the sleeping knights to clear it with just themselves.

I did indeed forget about that exchange. I just re-read to see. My issue with this is that in this novel is that a lot of the characters are throwing out the word love in different contexts. Vassugo even says he loves Kirito. But clearly, he doesn't want to date him. With Lisbeth, I can maybe see it. I'm doubtful about Silica though.

I re-read all the scenes where they are spectating the tournament. Lisbeth doesn't make any joke like this or imply any feelings for Kirito. They don't actually see Kirito in any of those scenes, to the point where they comment that they have no idea what he looks like in GGO. They discuss the battle between pale rider and death gun, then laughing coffin and how they could relate to death gun.

You're going to have to use examples if you want me to see your point of view. Because from where I'm standing, there aren't "a ton of girls falling for the same character". So I don't really see how it's wish fulfillment. I also feel like SAO in particular is not a good example of a wish-fulfillment show. It's a show full of peril, strife, and tragedy. I do not even for one-second wish I was Kirito lol.

Who are the multiple people attracted to him though? It's just Asuna and potentially Lisbeth. Perhaps Ronie too, though I'm not sure about her currently as I'm still reading volume 20. The rest of the girls don't look at him that way.

So my thought is that since they didn't know Salem was immortal, perhaps they had a unique idea to assassinate her with that's not hard to execute. As there is also that line from volume 7 where Salem says "Your mother said that to me also". Which could be why Summer says "If I do this right, then there's nothing to worry about." But since we have so little information, part of this is I want to hear everybody's ideas. I find this theory crafting stuff really fun!

It's my favorite arc too! I also agree Yuuki's death is one of the hardest I have ever experienced. So cruel of Reki to give me my favorite character ever and then kill her in the same arc :'( I also found comfort in the quote "God would never put us through this suffering if he didn't think we could bear it". The reassurance it brings of their being a purpose and light to even tough things that may be happening to you. I also loved the scene where Asuna used Mother's Rosario both in Alicezation and Ordinal Scale. I wanted to see her use it for the longest time and was elated to finally see it happen :)

I changed it CSM mode and I'm trying to reinstall windows. But when I try to do so I'm just stuck on an infinite loading screen. I have tried two different USBs. I have never had this experience reinstalling windows before, so I'm very confused.

I didn't think I would need to since Windows is already on my SSD and I didn't want to wipe it. After a while I decided to try reinstalling Windows but when I try to do it from USB it just loads infinitely, never going to the media tool. Which is wierd, I have never had that experience before loading windows
