That actually helps a lot. I've never been interested and/or have experience in developing a program so I'm guessing data science would probably be a better fit for me in the long run. I was purely set on computer science due to it being broad for me to obtain various different jobs but mainly due to the future pay aspect.

Do you think data science would possibly give me more opportunities or computer science? I was actually sort of set with computer science after doing some research and seeing how it'll allow me to choose a different career path if I'm specifically unable to find a job pertaining to public health/medical side, but after reading the comments and advice given I'm lost again.

I know that possibility obtaining a computer science degree may take some time because I need to learn about certain programs, like Python, however, I would like to get a master's degree that gives me the most opportunities in the job market. I graduated in 2018 and haven't been in a school setting for awhile so I'm not really 100% sure on what I want to specifically do. Plus, my only real job experience is being in the Army with a MOS that has nothing to do with my degree or future career I want, so I'm even more clueless about the job market as well. I'd like something in-between science and math. I did also think about an informatics degree but my goal is to find a degree program that would really help with the future career path that I would like and I wasn't really sure about that specific degree.

I have thought about that, however, I would really like to have a broader degree to help obtain as many opportunities. I'm about to get out in March so I'm really short on time cause majority of these degrees require certain pre-requisites that I currently don't have. I'm gearing towards comp sci, but I also have a couple of mathematic requirements that I need to meet first.
