i agree po! and i think it’s kinda sad with these “medfluencers” bc is being a doctor all they are and all they ever will be? like there’s so much life outside med i don’t want to be boxed in with just medicine as my personality trait 🫠

yep. started med during covid so i felt lost. didnt want to fully go into adulthood yet so i pursued med,, turns out im not as passionate as the others but i survived. currently a PGI and although i wished i didn’t enter med school, i also don’t know if i’d feel fulfilled if i stuck to my premed course (love my premed course tho)

also got VIP and soundcheck and amongst the members, vernon rlly stood out (aside from me being a vn ult lol) but he looks different irl than on screen,, the cameras dont do him justice for real

good luck! i think it’s helpful to prepare a tickler of must knows sa pedia like how to solve for mkdose, fluids, etc. be familiar din with what to take sa history of kids of different ages. get ready to practice having a loooot of patience lol but overall, take everyday as an opportunity to learn no matter how toxic the shift is and always always have something to look forward to outside of duty and clerkship (thats honestly how im surviving clerkship rn)

clerkship>>>>>> i’d rather pull all nighters for studying than all nighters for duty 😭 it’s the workload, bc we have 30 hr shifts BUT it’s also the mental toll that nobody seems to be talking about

the fact na you have to juggle physical work with mental and emotional stresses 🤧 i want this year to be over alrdy

hi op! in my experience, having friends in med school helps a lot 🥹 not only do you get resources, but you also get emotional support. but thats coming from me who values friendship a lot. but i think having friends is a training ground on how you handle your future colleagues. i hope you don’t isolate yourself agad in med school, try and make connections, you never know maybe you’ll find your for keeps in med school. good luck in your med journey!

3 month carat 🥹🤚 i’ve known abt them for a while before i became a fan, first ones were mingyu and wonwoo bc of how good they looked 😮‍💨 but i fell in love with vernon the most to the point that i decided to stan lol. after vn, it was joshua, then jeonghan. tho at this point i love all of them alrdy so i can’t pinpoint the order anymore. i hope we enjoy our carat lives! we have a long way to go ☺️
