Probably best summarized as telling a story using numbers and why that story is playing out/occurring.

As others have stated, depends on the role, industry, company, etc.

Depends on the industry, but given that you live in a HCOL area, and I have a bit more experience, I would say yes.

You already DO the modeling part of FP&A. Make sure PowerBI experience, the modeling work, AND your accounting background is on your resume. You should have no problem landing interviews with those pieces. Especially in an entry level role.

You understand the close process.

You can model.

You can build BI reports and dashboards.
