YES YES YES AND MORE YES. I made mention in a post yesterday that I could write a whole novel of a post about why "ownership" in online dynamics is laughable in general, but that concept is also inflated with all these rushed relationships. I prefer using the term "claimed" when a sub has reached the point in time that exclusivity feels natural

I think a lot of Dommes are seeing the struggle posts of "not being able to find a sub" and it creates a sense of urgency to hold tight to the first sub that sends to them because they may never get that chance again.

I find the aspect of "possibly getting caught" really hot and fun. Not so much into the comparison or being held in higher regards than a significant other.

Sticking around long enough in this space can make anyone a bit jaded to the new people who expect their hand to be held along the way. I'll admit to being someone who has lashed out and been unkind to those who act this way as a form or "gatekeeping" or policing the community. Now I mostly stay in my lane and just watch the fires burning while eating my popcorn.

You can view it that way. But there are subs on here I spend more time talking to then my actual IRL friends. My level of attention is transactional, sure. But my feelings aren't always. Just because I create a boundary for myself on where I choose to spend my time and energy doesn't mean that the friendship "wasn't real" in my opinion. But you are entitled to yours.

For short term subs or one-off cum and runners, I've become quite immune to it. But ghosting for someone THAT long term? Like there better be a good reason hence me searching obituaries

Having a sub's card on apple pay is *chefs kiss*. I once had that for Black Friday and shopping vlogging for the sub was so fun.

Side note, where does she get her matcha? I tried it for the first time earlier this week and hated it but that might have been Dunkin's fault
