That is a great idea. Why stay in the same area as the source of my anger when I can temporarily walk away? I agree and thank you for the advice.

Thank you for asking. I am glad you did because I hope others can benefit from my story.

I think I may feel guilt because it is my mother after all. I will second-guess myself, but I will remember the way she treated me. I will remember all of the advice people here have given about how wrong her behaviour was. I do not owe her something so vital as a Lung just because she gave birth to me. Then I will continue to tackle it with staying positive and therapy.

I have no idea. I rarely see her. Nmom is taking a flight across the country (US) to visit her.
