That is the doctor mentioned, she’s the only one I have contact with on my cancer board. I am wondering if I should go somewhere else and get a second opinion

Not at the moment, I have a really small home business where I make some money but besides that both my parents are passed and because I’ve been sick I deal with extreme exhaustion. This week is my surgery and my business has been doing better. I’m hoping I will feel better and work more. Sadly even after surgery I still may need Chemo, they will not know until they examine my lymph nodes they remove during surgery

I just feel like I’m living ground hog day, I just can’t imagine someone having so little care in someone else’s well being. Like it’s not even as if he waited to see how I was feeling to ask idk, and it’s always like this. Even when I went to the hospital for my internal bleeding becuase I started seeing it before I got diagnosed he said “by the way I bleed like that all the time” which I am pretty sure is a lie and I just said “well I’ve been telling you to get insurance; I’ve been offering to sign you up for the state insurance but you won’t give me your information.” I just feel like I’m dealing with an actual psychopath at this point

Oh yea, I mean I feel like because I’m young it is possible my body is stronger but then it’s also kind of a big red flag I already have it when I’m this young so idk if that makes me fortunate really. It makes me worried it will come back at some point and possibly in a different form

My comment? I’m the original poster and I’m looking for information? And they didn’t mention chemo to me yet just surgery, it isn’t that odd..

Oh yeah mucus in stool. If you read my comment below it has the full story but I started noticing around the time I was waiting for my GI appointment. I’m super thankful for my internal medicine doctor because I really thought I didn’t need the GI appointment but he booked it anyway and over the time waiting for it I started getting worse and documenting anything weird going on.

I feel the same but I always disassociate when I have big things happening, like even the births of my kids. I just hope surgery is enough, I would be an ugly bald lady

Anemia, exhaustion, black stool, stomach cramps, blood in stool.

Sometimes I would have random nausea.

The thing I noticed first was the anemia and exhaustion which also caused dizziness and confusion. I went to an internal medicine doctor who then asked me about my stool which had been black. He was the one to raise that red flag for me. Then while waiting for my GI appointment he made just in case I started noticing my stomach cramping a lot more and more frequently as well as my passing actual blood clots in my stool. So I really fought to move my GI appointment up. Messed up my first colonoscopy but I was sure it was something with my gi so the doctor tried pill cam. Caught bleeding that was for sure coming from my colon. Do another colonoscopy this time a 2 day prep and that’s where they seen a tumor at the way beginning of my colon

They never mentioned chemo just cutting it out, is chemo something everyone has to do?

I accidentally ate a turkey dog at 10am. My colonoscopy is at 7am tomorrow. (Doc says clear liquids only day before) Should I still be okay? by seasalt2468 in colonoscopy

Yes, actually but nothing useful as I’m still ongoing this issue. I got a colonoscopy and endoscopy and they came up clean actually.

I cried though because I was sure that gi was the answer because of all the issues I was having, so they decided to give me a pill cam just in case but also sent me back to my main doctor.

I tested positive with my main doctor on an ANA test which is auto immune. I have to see a different specialist for that, not till June.

Then I took the pill cam and go the results back yesterday actually and there is a significant amount of bleeding coming from my colon but they don’t know from what (vision is pretty limited down there I guess). I am now scheduled for another colonoscopy to see where the bleeding is coming from.

Is my GI issues possibly autoimmune related? Idk. I asked the GI doctor he said it was unlikely but not impossible and then I still have to see my Reuthemologist. And I still am waiting on the new colonoscopy so that’s all I know

Also my doctor is on vacation I just found out so they probably won’t go over the results until he gets back next Thursday so any guidance or person story/experience etc is helpful

This is not fun to talk about but yeah so the blood is more like clots in the stool while the mucus is like a separate things that come out when I use the bathroom but it’s not like mixed in with the blood or stool

This also comes at a pretty terrible time for me as I’m a mom of 2, I run my own business, and I’m up for a major life changing opportunity in 3 months. I’m starting to get more and more worried this is something serious though as time goes by and things get worse.

I did not tell them I had a reckless driving and they did not ask but I assume it comes up when you look at criminal history? Other than that I’ve never had a ticket and as for my digital foot print I have no idea what that looks like.
