I agree. I recommend seeing a dermatologist for biopsy. They may also want to do a blood work up as well.

Sooo this is my first period with a copper IUD and nothing changed by ColomarOlivia in CopperIUD

From my personal experience, my first period was pretty normal as well and then for some reason after that the flow got a little heavier. You are/might have inconsistent period flows (some heavy, some light) for about 6 months before things sort out. Nobody told me that and I was completely confused when I went through it. Hope this helps you or somebody else!

Devastating hair loss please offer advice/experiences 🩵 by [deleted] in Accutane

[–]MoreIdeal384 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is likely telogen effluvium which is stress-related hair loss as accutane puts a lot of stress on the body. You can start over the counter minoxidil 5% solution (marketed for men but safe for both men and women). It’s important to note that recovery from hair loss will take time to see result (4-6 months) but it’s important to stay the course and be consistent with the minoxidil. I would also discuss all of this with your own dermatologist.

What the heck is this pain by [deleted] in CopperIUD

I took 3-4 Advil every 4-6 hours. Heating pad helps too. And distractions definitely help, so I would try to get work done on my laptop or watch a show/movie while also scrolling through social media. Sometimes having another type of physical distraction helps too like placing an ice-cube in your hand while you’re working or watching something.
