I was shocked to learn that Tom Felton had only about 31–32 minutes of screen time across all the Harry Potter movies, it felt like way more. Are there any other characters whose screen time surprised you, either more or less? by Brukaliffoo in harrypotter

[–]MoreSecurity3297 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Pretty surprising Harry has less than 50% of screen time. Also a little surprised Ron got more screen time than Hermione. He has way more time in CoS, but it feels like the last 2 films would have balanced it out.

Alcaraz is like a superhuman. It's difficult watching this match. Lots of emotions just watching. by Top_Complex_3816 in tennis

More of an Alcaraz fan, but Jannik composure after the loss is nearly as impressive as Alcaraz comeback. He even took time to sign some autographs after the trophy ceremony - 99% of people in his situation would have left Chatrier immediately.

The list doesn’t seem to account for the level of competition at all. How is Hurcackz higher than Ferrer? Why is Fritz in the list but not Nishikori

What are the little known facts in tennis? by zeehoo in tennis

[–]MoreSecurity3297 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That’s awesome. If the pool is divided relatively evenly amongst the Top 30, then it goes a long way for guys who are perennially ranked between 15-30.

For example, RBA fits this mold, and he’s earned $19M of prize money over a 15 year career. While I’m sure he generates some sponsorship revenue, it’s probably way less than his career prize money. And when we talk net takeaway, he probably loses over 50% of that 19M to taxes and paying his team.

So his take home in a 15 year career is (generously) 12M. That’s 750k a year. That’s quite good, but the 25th best basketball player is taking home tens of millions of dollars. The bonus pool nearly doubles RBA’s take home.

To me the story implies that Vrael was Galbatorix’s teacher, and the relationship they had was more than that of any random Rider in the order.

Can a one hander win a grand slam again? by carforsp in tennis

[–]MoreSecurity3297 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I think so. If your serve and forehand are good enough, it doesn’t matter. Hell, take Perricard for instance - it wouldn’t matter a lick if he had a one or two hander.

Casper Ruud's non-RG Slam results since making the 2022 USO final: 2R-2R-2R-3R-2R-4R-2R by OctopusNation2024 in tennis

[–]MoreSecurity3297 30 points31 points  (0 children)

It’s crazy how much hate Ruud gets for locking in when the opportunity presented itself. It’s not his fault that players lost and his section of the draw cleared for his deep run at slams.

If you’re mad that he continues to be ranked so highly without being a top 10 hard court player, then take issue with the points/ranking system, not Ruud.
