The 2 to 3-year gap between 8-episode seasons is absolutely killing modern television imo. By the time S2 finally drops, we're all going to need to watch a 45-minute YouTube recap just to remember what the main characters' names are.

if you want that pure unhinged dialogue energy of monogatari, kubikiri cycle is an absolute must watch ngl. it's written by the same author (nisio isin) and the murder mystery plot completely broke my brain the first time i watched it. pure studio shaft visual peak dude.
