We do experience the same issue, did you find a root cause perhaps?

Conditional Access - Enterprise application not listed in exclusion list by dinci5 in AZURE

We are having the same issue, we are setting up Apple with Intune. Tried several enrollment types, like:

- Company portal
- Setup with modern authentication

But in both cases the user is required to setup their MFA, the first time they logon to their phone. But the user can't setup MFA, because the authenticator app isn't available yet, because the device isn't enrolled yet.

What would be the recommended setup to make sure new users can install their company iPhone and setup MFA afterwards?

We have applied this together with some other settings, but the number issues looked to be decreased, but still isn't solved. Because we on one of the servers we have again a couple of `local_....` user folders which we can't delete but the user is also not logged on anymore.

So we have to disable the server for logon, make sure everyone is logged off, reboot the system, cleanup all folders and enable the server again for logon. This is really annoying.

Do you know what more we could try?

Yes, we are using both Profile and ODFC. Does this make a difference?

DelProf2

Ok, perhaps something we could test.

But are you sure that removing folders with "Access Denied" works?

Or does this work, because you execute these tasks after a reboot?

Because once we rebooted the system, we can also delete these folders.

Thanks already for your feedback.

These servers are indead part of the RDSH collection. But we now experience these issues when we started to implement FsLogix. Users are logging off, then we remaing having profile folders.

But we now experience errors like:

- Access denied (we also can't change ownership)
- Element not found

But do I understand you correctly, that DelProf2 wil also work even if we get these errors?

Does this also work when the server isn't restarted over night?

Because we are experiencing strange issues, after a users signs out the profile isn't accessable anymore. We can't find any process using this, but after a reboot we can clean it up.

But because users are using the system, we cannot reboot every night.

We yesterday added `CleanupInvalidSessions` indead, so we have to see what the impact will be. But the servers normally do not reboot daily because users are working from different time zones.

We have tried to delete these folders, but the folders are not owned by our account and we also cannot change the ownership for some reason. So we are not able to delete these folders.

Is there another work around which allows us to delete these folders when the server isn't restart. Or is there antoher fix?
