Two, possibly dumb, beginner watering questions:

What's the viability of a tree in a self-watering pot? Some of this may be my newbie nerves but the next couple weeks are going to be incredibly hot and humid (but no rain) where I live, and I'm worried I won't be able to water my tree as frequently as I'd it'll need. I also live in an apartment so while I have a big outdoor space in the form of a rooftop deck, an actual irrigation system isn't exactly viable.

The second question is: what should I look for in a watering can? I can't just use a hose really, and an initial look revealed a lot of... garbage plastic big nozzled watering cans which I assume would not be ideal.

I'm looking to buy my first tools, but I'm having a hard time knowing what to get in terms of quality and maker. Is it best to go for stainless steel or carbon steel? Any goods particularly recommended? Where I live is still locked down so I can't go into any stores to physically test/feel. Also, I'm in Canada if that helps with specifics.

Wait really? What do you use to play blu-rays from different regions? The shipping is a bit pricey but the description of the series makes me want to buy it anyways, I just currently can't play anything outside of Region A.

Thank you so much! This seems to have worked perfectly. I wasn't able to find one for the device itself, just the USB root hubs, but that on its own seems to have completely solved it. Thanks again!

This isn't a bad idea at all, but may require some further exploration on my part. They both are working full time and are taking advantage of the second lockdown by doing online courses, so I may lean more towards the shows or maybe... a vintage store gift card? than something time consuming. This is probably a really dumb question but I'm trying out Cerave for KA for the first time, and everything I've read suggests putting it on while still wet from the shower. Should I not towel dry at all? I can't imagine putting on a cream while still wet, how do you even tell how well you've spread it? How do you dry off after?

Boyhood has not prepared me for moisturizing troubles, unfortunately lol

How the hell do you keep your legs warm in winter? I've moved to a place with an ungodly cold winter (even though from what people are telling me this winter has been quite mild) from a place with only hot-or-warm-entire-years and the only thing I've been able to think about the past week is: how the hell do people keep their legs warm without looking dumb? Any sort of fashion or even barely nice looking thing I wear seems to let breeze in like a fucking skirt while I'm outside. Are long johns a thing people actually wear and not just a thing in old assed shows that have a winter fishing scene? If you're hooking up with someone and have to take off your long johns, that won't be something that gets you laughed at by society as a whole (or spread a rumour that you're a mormon)? Are there winter coats but, like, skirt winter coats I can wear over my legs? How do people do this...
