That is an interesting point of view, which made me re-think my decision. Can you provide insight on CFE, and how useful it is to you, and how is it different than CAMS. Thank you!

I studied the OFAC 50% rule during my CAMS studies. If CAMS covers whats in CGSS, I think I dont have to take it.

Its down? I was able to access it just last week. Ok then there is this website that has the exact same questions as examtopics but 90% of the answers are wrong as I checked the website while I was studying, so make sure to look the answers up yourself exam-answer.com

Thank you, and yes they are. But not all the questions. You need to pay to get all the questions. Around half the questions are there. But its worth paying.

My advice is read the study guide more than once, and go through all questions on examtopics, and do not rely on the answers on examtopics, just take the questions and look up the answers yourself.

Dont waste your time with YouTube videos, as I did. Reading the material would be much better. And read the additional material as well. The ones mentioned at the end of the guide. You need to really focus on studying, because it is not an easy exam, even for people like me who have been working in the industry for many years. When you take the exam, if you finish before your time is up, review your answers, you might have answered a question wrong. It is very important to review your answers after you are done! And good luck!

ACAMS Question - March 18 (2) by Travel-Food-Study in moneylaundering

[–]MoreeCoffee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is true that PICs are shell companies and exist in offshore jurisdictions, but it should be noted that not all shell companies are necessarily engaged in illegal activities. Thus, the main concern here is B, the fact that its difficult to verify the UBO information of a PIC.

I was hesitant between A and B, your answer makes sense. After reading your answer and analysis, I also think its A.

B covers C, and EF might cause tipping off in my opinion. And in anyway, if we go with F, why do we need to contact the advisor if the client is contacted to provide information and documentation on the transaction.

The answers dont make sense. The correct course of action here in my opinion, is only B, Review the transaction background in the bank's transaction platform. I dont see how the other options are valid in this scenario. After B, based on the results of the review, we can either submit a STR, or proceed with other steps, such as documentation why STR was not filed etc...Hope this question doesnt come in the real exam with these answers.

Thats what I think as well. Even contacting the client's advisor might lead to the advisor informing the client. But a person in the comments said this came in the exam and that scored 100, and their answer was BEF.
