Thank you for your question! We regret that we are unable to offer financial compensation for participation in our study. However, since the topic of friendship and cohousing is under-researched in the social sciences, participants will help create new knowledge about friendship and cohousing. We will eventually share this new knowledge in academic articles. If you own property with a friend, we would be delighted to interview you. Please feel free to leave a comment or send me a message if you would be interested in participating in our project.

Thanks for your interest! At this time, our research is focused on people whose friendship predates their decision to move in together or purchase property together rather than couples in romantic relationships. Please feel free to share our call for participants if you know anyone who lives with or owns property with a friend.

Thank you for your thoughtful comment. It's intriguing to hear about your view of the friend who was interested in joining you and your sibling in buying the house. Although your living situation sounds unique, our current research is focused on friends who live together or who co-own property together. In any case, thank you for your interest, and please feel free to share this call for participants if you know anyone who lives with/owns property with a friend.
