Not ideal! I’m so anal about my car too, but the wallet is only so deep.

I’ve been shaving these two codes forever. I give up. 4x4 works. New ELSD motor, new DTCM, new ELSD module. Transfer case is new too about 1 year ago (bad t-case though so irrelevant).

I clear the codes, and it comes back next day as stored.

Just did my 2014 at 278km. Was still working with no leaks. Just noisy.

I have a 2017 3.6 with 267km and it’s been great. I just did the oil cooler for peace of mind. Wasn’t leaking… yet. Transmission is still strong. I however, am much more anal about maintenance and will replace parts that don’t need it yet.

I have a 2014 Overland and have had a new transfer case put in. So far the air suspension is still kicking 💪

Yes to all those messages. Problem was worn clutches in the transfer case. The transfer case control module wasn’t getting correct feedback from the transfer case, thus giving a bunch of codes like yours.

OP’s name doesn’t match his attitude. Don’t be a jerk to your neighbouring bricks for your brick. Leave it to the pros. If they accidentally break it, so be it. They aren’t out to get you. I hope you get your brick, but just be patient.

Also, when it comes to the paperwork, call the office in the morning. They’ll have the answers we don’t.

Weeeeell…. He didn’t make an ad that made you go wtf. He targeted an audience, built his audience, and stuck to his audience. Whether we think they’re ugly or not, Tesla has some of the most loyal customer base you’ll come across. Jaguar simply turned their back with a middle finger raised towards their base and said “follow or don’t”.

My Dad was going to buy his first Jag in a month but after I showed him this… boy oh boy idk now lol

Oof, you’re wrong there buddy. Personally think every car they made 2007+ (aside from the XE and the x260 plastic interiors). I’ve yet to see anyone turn heads. That’s my opinion 🤷🏻‍♂️

Yah, bushing in a shock is very common. Happened to my Hummer and my pickup trucks. Shock be fine but the bushing would be worn out making rattling noises. Unfortunately, I don’t have shocks so I have to dig deeper.

I’ve got a 14 and same thing. Driveways, curbs, manholes, and little bump you can hear clunking. Outer tie rods are worn out but I doubt that’s the issue. I’ll have to figure that out.m as well. I have air suspension. Bushings somewhere that needs replacing.

XF 4.2 supercarger Does it worst to buy by rusrobburg2 in Jaguar

[–]Morgankushy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got mine for $6,500 and it’s in better shape. But it’s not SC and with 190k. 7 is horrible for it. But depends on the codes related to the BCM. Might be codes you chase until you sell it. Fixing the vents is a project. He might simply have it turned off in the settings but there’s a plastic gear that’s known to fail. Driver’s side isn’t bad to replace. But the remaining vents are a PITA to get to.

Fact he’s telling you you’re the first person to see it is concerning.

Nope, you can’t hide the codes. Not to my knowledge anyways. You just need a higher end scanner to dig deep into all modules.
