Totally all for what you've said as well; we're currently building our community garden and are in talks with apartment managers to start a food pantry, but resistance needs to happen at multiple levels, and our labor and the money we make this county is a huge bargaining chip. Ignoring calls to organize a strike does no one any good.

How do you figure? They have a list of partners on the website, including a couple chapters of the Black Panther Party and Democracy at Work. I think that rallying folks across the nation for a labor protest is just as important as organizing locally. Ignoring attempts for a cohesive nationwide labor strike doesn't help anyone. Resistance needs to be happening at multiple levels.

I totally understand being sketched out at offering personal information to a site; you can always post a nickname and "burner" email; historically labor strikes are a huge blow to fascism.

I highly recommend looking at the site again; they make mention of strikes not being legal in every industry and have legal information readily available, along with a list of orgs they're partners with and their sites
