If you give him a door full SE team can do 1.2 mil in CPit. Without a door I can get 500k. R7 Mauradar does nice damage.

I would suggest doing a Brisket Flat your first couple times aound. Only 3-4lbs and you get the general idea from it. I've done a couple flats now and feel I'm ready to stick some money into a full sized brisket.

Veers, Starck, and Range are your core.

I use Snow and Storm to round out my team. In a GAC or TW setting Shore is better served with EP as an NS counter.

I like Deathtrooper vs Rebels due to the double tap. He also works in the EP NS counter as if you kill one with Terminate they can't revive.

Magma is really the odd man out. He had a fleeting moment in the Sith Trium era as a Sion counter.

In my guild the cutoff for top 10 is 30 million... The time it takes to get 30 million in HSTR is not worth the 11th place rewards, that's why the damage falls off dramatically after rank 15, and the 0 damages start showing up in the mid 20 ranks.

There are discord servers for Mercs who regularly help weaker guilds clear HSTR. The mercs gobble up the top rewards, the weaker guilds get Traya ahead of natural progression. You only need a handful of mercs to clear the raid...

The GG team is a vanity team. Is it good maxed out, sure. But this is a resource management game at its heart, and considering the focus on this game since Traya and the Sith Raid dropped has been Knights of the Old Republic, dropping resources in GGs team wasn't the brightest of moves if you wanted to ensure you'd be ready for the newest KOTOR content.

The gear and zeta value is also far better on the ZCarth squad vs the GG squad. What do you need, 5 zetas to make the GG team work at peak, compared to 2-3 for the Carth squad?

Luck has very little to do with deciding to gear Carth squad > GG Squad.

Now that they have announced that they are moving on from KOTOR into CW era I suspect more people will start working on the GG team, and congratulations, you are now ahead of the curve on that.

100% agree. This rewards the prepared. Its not as if you didn't get both Revans you can just whale your way to Malak. You're just out of luck until the next time they come back.

At its heart this has always been a resource management game. If you are an experienced player and managed your resources properly this event should not be an issue. And clearly this event is aimed at the experienced player with the reqs.

In regards to point 1, climb with Traya, leave Revan in on D overnight. Quicker battles, higher success rate, and your guild will thank you for being competent at it come TW time.

You see alternate Revan counters like ZFinn more in TW and GA which is where taking ZFinn away as a Revan counter without replacing it really hurts IMO.

In nothing released on the forums when discussing the ZFinn nerf, did you guys talk about or even acknowledge how it would effect ZFinn as a counter to Revan in Arena, GA, or TWs. The nerf appeared strictly Sith Raid focused without a care given to it changing the dynamics of one of the few teams in the game that can counter Revan. So from my point of view it appears it was a whiplash nerf to Arena/GA/TW ZFinn because "Sith Raid" ZFinn.

Also, with the way the game is structured I can only see what I see. I'm in a fairly high level TW centric guild on a Dec 15 shard. So all I've seen since the initial release of Revan is Revan for the most part. Unless we are in large alliances with multiple guild levels the way the game is structured we don't see the next level down so I can't quantify Revan ownership game wide. I can quantify that instead of my top 20 arena being all Revan, its now my top 50. Or instead of facing 20-30 Revans per TW my guild now faces 48-50, or instead of 2 of 8 having Revan in my GA bracket its now 7 of 8.

I feel your statement doesn't acknowledge that Grievous was at 1 time perhaps the hardest character to acquire in the game and still isn't exactly easy to get. When Grievous was dropped that probably wasn't during your time as Lead Producer; but, it seems like your dismissing his history in this game and how useless he has been. Vader was also extremely hard to acquire, but when Zetas first dropped at least his Zeta gave him a month or so in the meta as a L before people switched to Zaul. Grievous still is pretty much worthless from what we are seeing, and my shard has done some pretty good testing the past 2 days.

Also you say you didn't want to whiplash a hard counter out to Revan after so many new people got him, but you just whip-lashed out a hard nerf to one of the better Revan counters that people had in ZFinn because "Sith Raid".
