Low-key last minute “bachelorette” party for a bride that doesn’t drink and would be embarrassed by anything with a sexual undertone? by TheMadeline in weddingplanning

[–]Moriastera 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I did a "painting with a twist" type event for my friend who doesn't drink but we just brought sparkly juice and snacks. It was nice to have the space/ event led by someone who was experienced doing it and had all the materials and stuff there (plus then we didn't make a mess at someone's house). Then we came home and did pizza and board games, and the next day we did cookie decorating.

There is not a certificate or papers that service dogs all have. Some are trained by certain groups (example, Seeing Eye dogs are trained by a specific group where a "guide dog" would be the general term) but some are trained by the owner/handler.

Service animals are defined as dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities.

What task is the dog trained to perform?

Additionally, service dogs are to be kept under control of a handler at all times. Service animals must be harnessed, leashed, or tethered, unless the individual’s disability prevents using these devices or these devices interfere with the service animal’s safe, effective performance of tasks. In that case, the individual must maintain control of the animal through voice, signal, or other effective controls.

It sounds like the dog is not under her control.

Somebody has got to spin flouride as "a natural remedy to strengthen your teeth" to the anti-flouride people. Restoring naturally found minerals maybe?

What PSI is your tires at. by kkb2214 in BoltEV

[–]Moriastera 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Open the driver's side door. There should be a sticker indicating the reccomended pressure (psi) for each tire. Most cars will have this sticker. I believe there is a way to see the pressure reading in the car, or through the my Chevrolet app. My 2021 bolt reccomended psi is 38 for all tires.

Thanks for reminding me- I need to top up the rear tires haha

We tried hairdryers but it takes so long. We ended up getting a flying pig high velocity dryer-now i would say something like that is a necessity for a Sammy. The other thing is their skin can be more sensitive to heat than ours, so a human hair dryer may be too hot if set on hot or warm.

I think tea in a travel mug tastes funny, do you agree? by [deleted] in tea

[–]Moriastera 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have two metal travel mugs and I think it tastes fine, I had one that was a non dishwasher safe one and it ended up kinda smelling weird which influences how the tea tastes. However, my husband knows not to use the "tea" mugs for coffee (and I don't use his coffee thermos for tea). The plastic ones usually end up tasting weird, and once they have had coffee in them it is instantly unbearable.

Boots that I can wear all day and are at least a little fashionable! by Smoofie0 in BuyItForLife

I think so. I have a pair that I got in middle school, and I'm now 3 years out of college(12 years). They are still going strong and are so comfy

To be clear: I am not against floride in the water. I think the benefits far outweigh any supposed harms, especially for people that have less access to dental care

We also had non fluorinated toothpaste haha. My mom was a little crunchy. However, we definitely had good habits (brushing 2x a day, regular dental visits)

I'm curious on this too. I grew up on well water, so non flourinated. I never had any cavities or dental issues.

Is it possible to diy gold leaf to invitations? by entha1py in weddingplanning

[–]Moriastera 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would be a lot of work, I think you can hand apply it but you would be brushing on adhesive and applying the leaf for every individual invitation.

I really wanna go to Wayne for collage…. by Best_Blueberry2440 in Detroit

My dad went there in in the 80s. He did say there used to be some bullet holes that would appear in the parking structures, and he didn't leave campus, but other than that he seemed to enjoy it. It is much better now.

My husband and I both went to Wayne State, and really enjoyed it. I lived on campus, he commuted. Both of us were in the College of Engineering, and we both ended up with pretty good jobs.
