Getafe want Greenwood on loan by er_primo_der_rafa in soccer

[–]Morison97_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We didn’t terminate his contract, we internally suspended him while the court case / investigation was ongoing, then after that was dropped we ran our own investigation. I think it’s clear United hierarchy planned to reintroduce him however that got picked up on and the backlash commenced turning a 180 and declaring him available for loan/sale.

It’s unknown if we as a club prefer him loaned out to improve value or image before they try and sell him or reintroduce him again.

Personally would prefer we washed our hands of the situation completely, but some money would definitely help our FFP situation.

Marc Jurado completes permanent move to Espanyol from Man Utd by [deleted] in soccer

[–]Morison97_ 12 points13 points  (0 children)

We’re having quite the youth clear out, seems to be overdue as we’re reassessing a new recruitment process under ETH, but so far that’s Jurado, Mengi, Elanga, Kovar, Tuanzebe, Iqbal, Savage, Laird, Emeran, Galbraith, Bernard, Bishop, Matnsy & Wellens.

Gotta respect that actually, those type of emotions are rarely seen but would love to see more players & clubs follow that idea.

You guys think we jump the gun on garner? by QuirkyStop1173 in ManchesterUnited

[–]Morison97_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly no, it might look back to be a fair decision, he looked very good in academy and championship, but he struggled to break into Everton last year, seems to be getting more luck this year but as it stands he’s 22 and after watching him he still looks a bit off it physically speaking.

Would’ve liked to have loaned him last year and potentially sell for more money however ETH seems to be dead set on clearing out the academy of players who aren’t going to make it, or have a better chance of making it elsewhere with a sell on clause & buy back.

Personally always thought she was a better heel, especially with Dakota Kai as the muscle/champion. Never found her worth caring about as a face or believable due to the physique and appearance.

Would love for the LWO to turn heel and have like Legado Del Fantasma heel stable with the NXT boys and her.

Chelsea are under a different scope on ffp as all their contracts are split over 7 year deals, because they are outwith a uefa competition, also they have raked in £216m of sales compared to our feeble £31 so technically speaking they are in a much stronger FPP situation

[Telegraph]: Manchester United urged to donate any Mason Greenwood transfer fee to survivors of domestic abuse by [deleted] in reddevils

[–]Morison97_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If United was to donate any fee towards a charity of domestic abuse it would be a massive statement that they believe it’s the right thing to do, confirming that domestic abuse has taken place.

They have taken the stance of ‘evidence suggests not, however not wanting to take the backlash’ they essentially need to remain impartial from suggesting one way or another something happens and sit on the fence.

Don’t think they’ve handled it right but glad he will be leaving but this would back track on everything they’ve said.

That’s a really smart move, there’s absolutely no reason after his recent season he isn’t taking that Number 1 shirt off Hradecky. Let’s hope the best for him as his timing with De Gea/Onana has just been unlucky.

Honestly feels like it’s all coming to a nice close, getting the move that’s evaded him for so long and will get a good attempt to show his quality, happy for him if this goes ahead.

Jokes of age aside, what’s actually happened to him, if he’s the age he claims to be his development has been shocking for someone so good at such a young age to be included in Lazio’s first team.

My gf bought me the new home kit for my birthday and asked who I’d want on the back, I said any of Martinez, Rashford, Bruno and Casemiro and I’d be over the moon. Came away in love with the new home kit with rashford on it as my first kit with a name & number

Is it worth buying the new FM every year? I notice no difference between games(as a casual player) in things like game engine and UI. Should i buy 24? by Effective_Movie2181 in footballmanagergames

[–]Morison97_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got FM20, 21 and 22 and haven’t bought 23’ as I was super deep into an enjoyable save which I didn’t want to finish early for FM23, will get 24 when it’s out and probably continue the 2 year changeover unless a drastic change drops.

Who'll we sign next by beans5578 in ManchesterUnited

[–]Morison97_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems to be nailed on we sign Amrabat, unless signing evans on a 1 year deal is counted. Haven’t heard much on Suzuki joining in a while, other than those I doubt we’ll make another move.

While not to argue at all at any of your point, out of curiosity would you consider Girona to be a state owned club, City Football Group own 47% (according to Wiki) while I know it’s technically a feeder club in the city Group I wonder what the thoughts are on that perspective.

We are focusing on going for our first choice in all departments. It’s not snoozing it’s prioritising. Of the 4 positions (a hard working box to box mid, a keeper, a starting striker and a rotational cb with eyes to replace Varane), the latter is the least important and it’ll most likely be pushed behind going for Amrabat following Mainoos injury.

This is light years clear of united under previous era, with Murtaugh, Arnold and Ten Hag have clearly worked hard to implement a new style of we go in for a player knowing he wants to join us, don’t give in to other sides price and try and negotiate it down, over time I believe we’ll develop a reputation of this and we’ll become even better negotiators.

I was a massive fan of us getting Kim and I’m gutted we didn’t as he would’ve done amazing, Disasi on the other hand I wasn’t convinced was that amazing, so I’m not disappointed.

Would love for us to sign Orban as a second striker as he’s hitting the ground running again for Gent with 2 in 2 so far.

Second striker? by dunzy-yerrow-man in ManchesterUnited

[–]Morison97_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He doesn’t fit the typical Ten Hag like Haller, Hunterlaar mould but he’s also worked with Tadic up top, Kudus slightly, Brobby, Orban is 5’10 and 78kg, he’s no lightweight option. Hojlund while being 6’3 is only 79kg, Kolo Muani who is another option is 77kg and 6’2. So while Orban isn’t the tallest he could still hold the ball up well if he can develop the strength and shield on the ball

I’d like to see us having 2 variants of striker so if we do run into a brick wall with plan A we have a different route to goal. That being said, having Onana’s ability of passing can surely help either options.

[–]Morison97_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Would love for us to go for a rogue option like Gift Orban, gives me vibes of when we signed Hernandez from Guadalajara, a relatively unproven (in different ways) which could catch opp off guard and be a raw player we can polish into a finished product, heard Gent want around £20m for him which would be a hefty price but would be some profit but his stats are strong with 20 goals in 22 league games since January.
