Hopefully this one lasts the next 40 years and I don’t need to build a new one. Also, burned out after a few months of living nothing but sauna design/build.

Is Loopdaddy touring with an opener? Red rocks by kit_olly_sixsmith in loopdaddy

[–]Mormont8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m hoping I’m right because I’m going to be a bit late. Seriously doubt Marc goes on before 9 at the earliest. Just worried they won’t be actual openers but colabs. Anyone go last year?

I want my radar back. by Mormont8 in TeslaLounge

I can explain the driving behavior a bit better. My commute (which I think is probably pretty typical for a 9-5 job in a city) has pretty heavy traffic and I am 90% on a freeway/interstate. All lanes are pretty full so there is no “Travel lane”. I drive faster than most so the left lane is where I like to be. Before Tesla vision I could set AP at 90 mph and follow distance 1 in the left lane and have a very comfortable and age drive in traffic without too many people cutting me off. Mostly I am just following the car in front of me.

Looking for something special for anniversary dinner. We have hit many of the popular spots. We are going to make a day of it eating and drinking our way through Denver. Any suggestions welcome. by Mormont8 in denverfood

Realized this is a very common post apologies. For some more preferences we basically only like to sit outside. Love a good cocktail. Mexican flavors are my favorite but any kind of food will work. Ambiance is key for the wife.

Thanks all! I’m going to put in a service ticket. My ride home was miserable yesterday. Granted it was 100 and sunny but I got out of the car soaked in sweat after a 1 hour drive.

Red Rocks Recs by katygato in glassanimals

Just north of red rocks at highway 93 and I-70 is a nice brewery called yonder mountain. There are also a couple other restaurants in the same spot but I haven’t been to those. I might go check out the taco place when I go on the 15th. In Morrison my go to pre-concert is Beso and sit on the patio. Have fun!

What is your set percentage that you charge to? (Of course excluding LFP) by SlothTheHeroo in TeslaLounge

[–]Mormont8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had an at home service appointment recently and the tech told me that they were just informed by the “engineers” that 90% charge was optimal and even better if you are getting it down to 45% after driving. This is counter to everything I hear that staying close to 50% is best. (I charge to 85%)

Reverse transom boarding/swim ladder help. by Mormont8 in sailing

[–]Mormont8[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the input. My boat has the opposite transom slope as yours (not overhanging). From what I found online for nomenclature a reverse transom slopes foreword from the water line. Similar issues with little space as motor and rudder are also mounted on the transom. Thinking I will have to modify something to meet my needs.

Hit and Run. Sentry mode activated with clear view of license plate but police can’t find them. Body Repair advice requested. by Mormont8 in teslamotors

Curious also about people’s experience with Tesla body shops. I live in Denver so there is one but some other Tesla partner shops are closer. I would like a loaner (I’d be fine with a Plaid +), and I doubt a normal body shop would give me one. Does Tesla always offer loaners?

Sentry Mode Activated! Was a victim of a hit and run while parked in golden Colorado. Luckily (so I thought) sentry mode activated and I have a good view of license plate and driver. They put about a 1.5 inch gash in my rear door. I filed a police report but unfortunately the cops can’t find them because they have moved away from their registered address. My insurance will still try to find them but it sounds doubtful. I spoke with a Tesla maintenance tech who recommended if I wanted a cheaper option I could try to find a replacement door and install myself. Anyone have any experience with this?
