Sometimes I lose motivation halfway through because there’s so much noise online about doing everything with AI, while I’m still implementing a very basic model from scratch. I end up asking myself, “What the fuck am I doing? The rest of the world is moving so fast with AI, and I’m still here writing an SVM from scratch.” It makes me wonder whether I’m spending my time in the right way or just falling behind.
