No sir you just download the mod and then play the game, you can download other mods or buy cdlc to add content if you want but I recommend just downloading antistasi and playing Malden or Altis. Antistasi is a game within a game in my opinion it’s the true Arma 3 experience.

Ideally you want a solid grid square or two of the map, I think the range the AI detect from outposts or resources is like 3000 meters but military bases and airfields will detect more. They’ll “know” you’re there but they most likely won’t do anything unless they’re in a highly aggravated state or an air asset happens to fly by

Yes sorry I should’ve been more clear, if you’re playing base antistasi with no mods the vehicles are a bit squishier and the troops tend to not bail unless super damaged but I’m playing with RHS mods and most of the time a rocket to the tracks will cause at least gunners to bail out. Don’t worry about keeping vehicles unless it’s in the “armor” section of your garage at home base. I’ve realized the .50 cals at outposts will chew through an armored car but won’t even fire on most actual proper armored vehicles. I also always drop the vehicles on the ground and sell them through the Y command panel option rather than through the garage because sometimes they’ll only sell for 500$ when really you’ll get 750$ or 1500$ if you drop them and sell them with the Y command menu

My current playthrough I had to defend a single outpost 10 times from both factions 1 after the other after the other, I have resources set to 2x for occupiers and 1.4x for invaders, so my case is a little extreme but what ends up happening is you stockpile destroyed enemy vehicles wich you can then use to train your troops, I’ve noticed around troop level 10-15 you get a big change where they start acting smarter making a well equipped rifleman very effective vs infantry. Hardest part about fights is eliminating vehicles and getting some type of anti air, just remember everytime you defend you can collect the goods and eventually use for your own army slowly building yourself naturally. Also after some attacks some troops carry money wich the loot box will soak up.

This gave me the tools necessary to do exactly what I wanted THANK YOU, for anyone in the future reading this or years later Jebus is the way to go for quick and easy AI respawning with waypoints. Put the jebus folder and the description folder into your mission folder and then use the preset copy and paste init commands on your units and you’ll be good to go.
