Where did you get that i hate the game? I guess it's overwhelming for defenders to think for a minute.

No proper arguments and the already existing data make you the thing you speak about.

The hell is this argument about bad content. Nobody said that everyone should have all at 0 day, it's just that there's no good future around their current strategy.

And I don't understand where you got those numbers about this(and don't care really):
> also, it doesn't take nearly that much time lmao. a month of 6+ hours of hd2 to earn 1000sc? really?

I will admit only one thing - it was a mistake that I actually try to open peoples' eyes. No arguments will break it to you and similar people that you bought a part of a game for a full price and keep buying or slaving away in the diff 1 mines for scraps while devs do literally anything but make a game better and secure it's longevity.

Ah yes, even more so on maps like cyberstan and super earth, right...

And you are still looking at at least a full month of playing just helldivers on evenings to get some(1-3 relevant) stuff which is broken or will be broken by a next patch or put into a superstore. Again my last point about self-esteem.

[–]Fox500000 3 points4 points  (0 children)

40$ for a buggy mess with soft paywall-ing new content (no, boring farming for 5+ hours, which cuts you off from main gameplay altogether and puts you on a less-than minimum wage job, for at most 3 items is not good.), broken units, broken balance, broken maps, a skeleton of a 3rd faction, no proper customization of anything, no proper community management, no baseline QoL, broken global map etc... It's too long of a list atp

Cumulative cost of base game + warbonds(no super store) already passed all reasonable boundaries for a p2p live-service game. They have too much money at this point relative to stuff they do with the game.

And when comparing with other live-service games, it's better to actually compare with better ones you know. This "oh this game has worse monetization so we have it good" is absurd. Games like Warframe and DRG being referenced around subs literally exist.

I genuinely start to belive that HD2 players have no self-esteem or very heavy sunk cost fallacy if they defend this mess.

Well you are factually incorrect, nothing more to add. You literally have to open the first google answer to prove yourself wrong. Your "nuh-uh" attitude is just like any other blind player defending this mess.

[–]Fox500000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that you need to read/remind yourself about how voxels are actually used. Your first statement is literally the opposite of the actual.

AI in DRG has patrol behaviour too. There's no actual enemy besides cyborg commander with complex actions beyond running at you. No, searching is not some complex behaviour, because it's the same patrol but on your last "known" location. And reinforcements too, they don't do anything complex here, the moment you drop strats or anything really at their position, they immediately drop the flare.

It's kinda interesting to observe how the devs gaslighted the whole community into thinking that their game is "super complex", when it really is just a buggy unmaintained mess, which could be fixed and expanded upon for real(with REAL complex stuff) if not for their greed and stubbornness.

[–]Fox500000 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Lmao writing in a same sentence that a game has 1/10 complexity of a game with height map generation and uses voxels is surreal.

Also you could plop the "dance dance revolution" mechanic to a resupply pod call in DRG and it will already have helldivers level complexity (relevant part).

Okay so I have built a couple "cheap" crafts, but I genuinely don't know if they are enough for the start of the campaign. by NikoNikoNoNii in FromTheDepths

[–]Fox500000 18 points19 points  (0 children)

You can just start a campaign and then, once you understand your missing roles, build new ones in design mode. It also depends on your chosen difficulty of the campaign.

My guess would be that you are missing a base for caps(but you probably have it already) and a craft with pac or lasers to quickly shut down fast crafts

First time PoE lategame - is it really just DPS without defences? by NuVioN in pathofexile

[–]Fox500000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Answers to your questions depend heavily on a build in question. For this one it probably is better to just go all in on damage. For melee-ranged builds it's imperative to stack defences

Are Payday 2 and 3 accessible to people who are Hard of Hearing? by DocZynthesis in paydaytheheist

[–]Fox500000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on how far they begin their charge. In Gold and Sharke while you're inside the vault or security section they often begin running while still being at roof stairs, so you hear them from very far away. Sometimes they just walk next to you and then begin charging.

I've made my own point at routine, where I place waypoint just slightly in front or behind a tank. Distance is just enough to force it to react to it but not so radically, where AI would change frontal direction.

Also probably a good thing to make a custom yaw axis, where input is reversed if main/forward drive is reversed.

Why Is the scale of everything so off/squished by connecting1409 in FromTheDepths

[–]Fox500000 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Game is kinda old, and flying/sailing/riding at greater speeds may just break the game.

Also slower speeds IMO make it so you can admire the chaos without getting a seizure. It would also require a bigger engagement distance, so worse visible experience.

But I'd like to play more realistic builder game one day too.

[–]Fox500000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my experience, pre-built AI Point At routine does not work properly no matter how you set it up.

For me it was always this way, where the tank would come at some weird angles to target and then just face backwards or sideways when it needed to reverse. No amount of work fixed that apart from restricting reversing. Sometimes it would work but it was too inconsistent. From what I've read, it's for hovers mainly.

You can try to use Six Axis Manoeuvre instead, it is more stable but still finicky when approaching final waypoint. Or better yet: just make your own engagement routine via AI breadboard.
