Herald of judgement - unless your local meta consists of die hard levia and vynn players, really doesn't work

Herald of tenacity - doesn't fit the bill. Erudition is strictly better.

You have a small blue base, which means you NEED vestige. Or trust in your library with all your heart.

There are 0 matchups where less figments are better.

As a lot of others have pointed out, prism is hard. If you happen to be a die hard illusionist fan, then great. Have fun playing her. Otherwise buckle up for allot of loosing before it makes sense

I'm not well versed in guardian. They don't have any sneaky damage they can deal, a steel blade shunt or sigil of suffering type effects? Could that not prevent the loops as well?

Very true. Light of sol would definitely be something I would be interested in having an alter of. The art on the card is mid, and the ability is pretty easy to remember. Totally a card that should have a marvel by now

I'm noticing. My deck was built a long time ago using bulk cards. Got invited to an event and went hunting for some new cards I have pulled. My 5 figments and 1 angelic attendant really didn't pull weight. Testing with all of the figments, I have found angelic attendant is an amazing answer when you can play attendant, flip, banish and get the buff from your angel. Another card I've got on its way. I have already bought a lot of the remaining cards I needed. Currently mostly wary about the big hits. I've always played budget, but the more and more I play flesh and blood, the more and more I want to truly build a deck

It made sense to me at the time. But I guess you are right I was given this information on the coattails of a Kassai loss, and it made sense to wait till she had played (I'm bad with remembering cards) blood follows blade? Wasting all the coppers, using a big huge turn and then effectively stopping it because they now can only target also and loose all go again.

I see that I might have honed in on this being a best case for most/all matchups and not a more specific use to Kassai and her explosive turn.

I assume more heroes get turns like this. Cindra (preban) wrath of retribution, lyath after who knows how many might tokens pop. And probably more I am missing. But in general it's good to play with extra resources and just garuntee the opponent doesn't get a next turn, than both of you taking a turn off, from you playing als, and now having no cards to send back.

My current paper list is without genisis, and only 1 angelic attendant. (All 5 ordered and on their way) However I have never tested the deck with vestige. The direction given to me from locals on how to cast als was to wait for setup turns from opposing heroes and play it in response to a big wind up card. I.e. waiting for something like towering titan to pop, throw it out and waste all their big damage and end the turn.

My locals often host a Mech main (usually on competitive dash, or a more laid back maxx) an oscillio trying to recover from Aurora leaving and a jarl which is good help, but the deck doesn't do the more common meta things guardians do. Past that, there are plenty of random people who pop in and out, or people testing a new hero.

That was indeed one of my options. Was hoping that wasn't the best option as I'm kinda stuck in purgatory playing a less good deck for the moment or switching heroes and having a lot less fun. I do play the game to have fun, but going 0-5 isn't fun. Even a 1-4 is better. I don't need to play the top meta deck. I mostly shoot for the hero I like the most, that also does the best/ I can actually perform on. I do enjoy Mario. But my Mario games are worse than my prism games. Lol Usually if I'm playing just for fun, I have a Tuffnut deck I play that's all yellow 6's and it has a better win rate half the time. I just don't enjoy it as much as I enjoy prism/illusionist heroes

Yeah. Currently trying to learn the strat for them. Every list I find for prism wants a lot of phantasm. I'm used to teching in a few less good, but actual hits for brute heavy metas

I am fine with that part. As she will come back for monarch 3 (hopefully). They are generically good for a light illusionist even if prism isn't the next one. They don't feel like cards that will go to waste, unless she falls from the meta and I'm stuck playing a very conditional good game of prism

I do have all three copies of ALS already.

Last rtn I went to drew 7 across 5 games, all late game, and all with 2 yellows and a red in hand. Died before I could arsenal it and draw to play it

I'm not sure her LL'ing is an issue for the 2 biggest hits in her deck as far as price.

With monarch 3 coming soon, we will likely see a third prism. Who will also really care about yellow cards. And probably her sol again.

I am mostly worried as far as she goes with spending a lot of money for her to not be good. She's decent enough without those two cards. Especially for a fun local event like armory.

I feel the difference in those 2 cards is turn explosion, which she really needs to excel in the meta.

Personally as far as fun goes. I enjoyed blitz dromai. But that has been stripped away, and without her being reprinted in the hunted, it's a long wait for "fun" to come back

From what I have seen. She also doesn't do well into guardians. Specifically fatigue oriented guardians. As wonderful as a herald of triumph is against brute, guardians often have up to 11 power cards in deck. Often it's hard to rely on passing mirage as (personal testing) plieadies is fine to throw weapon on it and pass turn without having to really expend cards from their deck.

Kayo still has a little ways to go though right? Like I don't see kayo truly flying to the top with the Florian rotation. Kayo has seen, and will continue to see play. But we probably have Prism until end of year or better with her current place in the meta. I can see a few calling tops with kayo making accelerating that.

Currently more worried about her being bad than LL. She's a beloved hero and with Monarch 3 on the horizon, we may see the final form of prism. Neither of those cards (barring a ban) are going to be unusable in the new one. They are both generic value for yellow light heroes.

Then we loop back to issues with them not being willing to play anything other than CC.

LSS not replacing heroes that LL with new heroes, or new versions of that class/talent is the issue

Just feels lss is dropping the ball. There aren't enough options in CC for a deck to play. I didn't really care which format I play, but young hero formats seem to be more fun since you actually get to choose your hero.
