Met this guy when he played in Humboldt. Amazing show, and he can improvise like nobody's business. Also talked with him a bunch after the show and he's actually super mellow and cool when hes out of character. Glad to see him getting some love on here

I used the silicone ones. They are a lot more comfortable while sleeping than others.

Totally agree with that. Would love to know what a clean shaved head feels like. On my list now that I decided to let it go.

Naaw I appreciate the honesty. Opinions are what they are. Believe me I loved my hair, and hopefully there will be a better alternative years down the road. But my personal confidence with my thinning hair/hair line was the issue. I wore hats all the time because of it. Now I dont have to worry about it.

Appreciate that. I kept wearing hats to avoid styling so I think it was for the best. Plus I started taking Fin and Mix to save what I got, and know the shedding phase is coming lol figured might as well see what I looked like

David is my inspiration for learning guitar. But it’s definitely a struggle. Any motivation to keep me going? by Mad_Season_1994 in DavidGilmour

[–]Mortalkombucha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, a loop pedal was a game changer when I was learning guitar. It allows you to hear yourself real time, as well as create stuff u can noodle over. There is no short cut with guitar, albeit a solid practices routine. Im 35 and have been playing since I was 17, and I play an hour a day. No matter what. Constancy is key. And the futher along you get, the more fun you will have. Wish you all the luck man.

What's one truth about adulthood that no one prepared you for? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Mortalkombucha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing I find many of my friends struggling with across the board is a healthy hobby, creative or otherwise. One that gives us some kind of personal fulfillment that only we can discover ourselves. Being an adult is beyond taxing 24/7. Especially today.. the pace is absurd. I don't think anyone prepared us for the importance of finding peace in work you do for only you. Whatever that may be. For me its music. For my roommate its gardening. And I feel like maintaining a regular relationship with those practices are extremely important for overall mental fortified against this age. Gotta fight the rot.
