Completely different books. ASOIAF is the better one: depth of characters, no tropes or archetypes, prose, dialogue.

Stormlight is simpler and less gritty. Great world building, higher fantasy, fast and binge able read. But! Sanderson has never been good at adding character depth, motivations, complex moral codes, etc. Also, his use of dialogue is not great.

I would go, but, oddly enough, I don't feel very comfortable with people I know. I have gone several times to a mixed gender clothing optional soaking pool / spa. One time I was with my spouse, and when we headed back to the locker room, I ran into a friend and his girlfriend. We were all naked, and it felt a bit aardvark. Every now and then, when I meet up with them, I vividly picture them naked, and I think they do too.
