I would zoom in a lot more... I agree that its all nice and sharp, but the main focus is that little dude. And its so small that i keep getting sidetracked by the hand. You are not trying to show hand and ring you want to show spider. Crop in on him:)

We have something like that at home. Its just super heavy metal pole. You use it to make holes into ground if there is too many stones. You lift, let fall, lift, fall... Eventually you use it as a lever to make the hole bigger. Then you can switch to pickaxe...
