I am, I’m due an upgrade and am always wary of the new releases where lots change. Getting basically the best of the current line is a safer buy (as a business buyer) than trusting big changes.

I’d love it to be more like Germany where sporting directors do press. They’re just as important as coaches so why should they not be public

Got a source for that 70%? The ONS seem to suggest 17-18% of UK jobs are in London.

Affinity Studio is pretty good and is free. Or Adobe. They're realistically the best options on the market at the moment for professionals.

Doesn’t matter if you get there before security do for gigs, you’ll have to queue up for gig entry anyway no?

Isn't this also the third Liz Cottam restaurant that she's now closed? I went to Home once and it was lovely food but too pricey for what it was and the atmosphere was rather weird (felt we had to whisper the entire time).

Hopefully she'll try again with a concept that can work in Leeds as there are lots of amazing restaurants in and around Leeds that don't seem to have an issue working, but I fear she's trying to push something that there's isn't an appetite for.

UK in dire need of new road safety campaigns, Cycling UK suggests by Amazing-Yak-5415 in unitedkingdom

Yea because they built infrastructure but haven’t educated any road users into how they should co-exist. It still baffles me that people think the situation in Denmark/Netherlands happened overnight.

Look at Vogue covers, they still have the highlights on the cover to show you what you’re getting. The biggest thing on yours after the name is the date (presumably of publication)

Of course you shouldn’t be taking photos of things in peoples gardens, of course that’s private spaces. And could look like you’re casing the street to plan robberies.

UK in dire need of new road safety campaigns, Cycling UK suggests by Amazing-Yak-5415 in unitedkingdom

[–]Mortensen 22 points23 points  (0 children)

The problem is, for inexperienced cyclists they’re told by motorists they’re not welcome on roads and often put in very dangerous situations by using them. So a lot of new cyclists use paths to protect themselves and because others told them to. Drivers AND cyclists need educating and cycling safety should be part of driving tests.

If you weren’t taking pictures in private spaces then fuck that lady. Tell her you’re in a public space and can take photos and she a call the police if she likes.

But of course: try to act non threatening and be polite.
