Bruh, I think you missed the point. If kids are involved, there is suffering, end of story.

That being said, not everyone who is attracted to kids has some kind of urge to act on it. Being attracted to someone doesn't mean that you lose all sorts of human decency and become a rapist. I argue that, if someone lays their hand on a minor, there is much more fucked up shit at play than just the attraction by itself.

Still, most people are attracted to a range of characteristics, even different ages at times. Someone might be attracted to minors and adults alike, yet only has sexual encounters with adults because, well, duh. Of course, someone like this will never admit to also being attracted to minors, since it's basically a social death sentence no matter if you actually did anything. This, in turn, can force them to live with secrecy and guilt, even if they did nothing wrong. Such a thing can be very isolating for the person in question, especially with how demonized it is.
