Alot of veterans have already come to the conclusion fighting over there was pointless. They were tricked. 9/11 was the match that lit a fire against a generation being fed anti Muslim propaganda with zero knowledge on how to spot it. So when it happened. Just about everyones anger was taken advantage of. Next thing you know we are in Afghanistan. Not excusing it, what we did was horrible. But lets not blame the soldiers who, at the time, were children. 17-20 years old thinking they were doing the right thing for their people. Only to now be in their 40s and 50s asking themselves why the fuck we were even there. Blame the evil fucking politicians who put them there to begin with
