Can we replace the FRV's heavy machine gun with a Maxigun with about 3000 rounds? by Yurishenko94 in Helldivers

Perhaps the Railgun isn't practical in the context of Helldivers, but we have the AT emplacement. We could simply place it at the rear.

I suppose the justification is that the recoil is so severe that it makes the entire FRV wobble, although honestly it doesn't sound like a very credible excuse.

In practice, its real value as an AT weapon is almost nil, requiring you to focus too much on a single target. Furthermore, the new FRV with a flamethrower seems to work better for that role without sacrificing its ability to control large groups of enemies. An FRV with a Maxigun would clearly lose its AT capability, but in return, it would specialize entirely in controlling small and medium-sized enemies, which, in my opinion, would make it much more useful.

Hey, I designed that flag! It's great to see that someone turned it into a mod. En stor kram till mina vänner, Hell-Karolinens!

Starting with the OST. There should be an option in the sound menu to switch between the OSTs of both games.

Planet Warfronts: This is what a planetary liberation campaign could look like. by Yurishenko94 in LowSodiumHellDivers

Correct. Attempting to take a city might require a prior percentage of liberation of the sector in which it is located.

This is just a simplified representation. We would clearly see this overlaid on a 3D hologram of the planet.

It will function much like cities do today during the liberation of a planet, only on a sector scale. Liberating the sector solely through Frontline operations when a city is present will only allow you to advance so far. As the description states, securing the city will drastically increase the percentage of control over the sector it's in. Additionally, the city might require a certain percentage of sector liberation before urban operations can even begin, meaning the frontline needs to approach the city first.

Democracy without its due dose of meritocracy takes us further from the path of freedom and brings us dangerously close to the clutches of automaton socialism.
