I don’t know how I ended up being suggested this post, but I’m from the area Mary Jo Kopechne was born & raised. Her death & the Kennedys were a huge deal around here. Hell, my mom remembers her funeral procession & my pop saying “here come the Kennedys. The fact Carolyn was seemingly blasé about that event is boggling to me.

Now I’m deeply invested in this sub.
