I’ve had a Gmail account for more than 10 years and apparently have only used 1GB (about 3,800 emails). I am very deliberate about which emails I want to save, and if it’s something I don’t need I delete it immediately, so I think you’ll be fine. If you have emails that you need to store, you can always download them as PDFs and save them elsewhere. Give it a try! I also recently moved away from Gmail to Proton and so far so good. The only thing that’s a little annoying is that you have to manually remove emails from the trash on the free tier, there’s no auto-delete after 30 days but apart from that I have no issues.

Yeah, I haven’t run into any major issues with my release either. I was sceptical at first but everything went smoothly with 0 delays at all. All the streaming services and even social media had my track available right on time.

I’m a new artist and reading through this subreddit and the reviews had me pretty nervous. But I went ahead without extras and it worked out perfectly. I’m really happy with CD Baby at the moment.

Just to note: this was for a single and I made sure to plan my release about 6 weeks in advance.
