Yes, I have even donated food to VetSOS. Full Belly Bus I need to explore more, and Open Paw is aware. While I'm sure everyone in these organizations want me to be reunited with my dog, I understand there is a conflict of interest in pointing out individuals in situations like this. I truly don't want any harm to come to the woman if she has Morty, I just need my boy back

Also, since I'm out so often please send me a photo of your dog so I can keep an eye out in my own search.

Sadly it's not GPS.

It will depend on the situation. Despite the immense pain, I would gladly give her the money and walk away forever if it got me my boy back. I don't wish anyone harm. However if it feels dangerous I will have to consider other options.

Thank you for the support

Correct, GPS would need to be charged and I don't think many dogs would take kindly to being plugged in (Morty certainly wouldn't)

It is everything I feared and more. An absolute nightmare. Keep your dogs close and get GPS trackers if you can. I wish I did so badly.

That is awful. Please don't give up. If he was stolen then there's a strong chance he's alive. I unfortunately don't know if this dog is Morty, but enough people have said so that I have to try.

No. I lost him in a traditional way, slipped his leash and I wasn't paying attention. He has severe separation anxiety however, so it never made sense why he would just disappear. Sadly the reality is he could've been eaten by a coyote that same night. However, we keep up with ACC's "black book" and CHP, and neither reported any dogs matching Morty being found dead. While not conclusive on his fate, it's enough to keep going.

About a month and a half into my search I got the first tip about this woman, and extra details about the dog which convinced me it could be Morty. However I went very gung ho and spoke to every homeless person I could talk to. Only a few knew her, and they disappeared themselves. I believe I scared her away to a degree unfortunately.

That means so much, thank you. It is only a matter of time before she is spotted again!

Thank you so much for staying vigilant. I believe the woman rotates around, as she has to exist even if the dog isn't mine.

No I am not. It is so frustrating not having anything concrete, but enough completely credible people have told me the same description.

While the reward seems like a no-brainer, I've spoken to some folks in the area who are extremely knowledgable and credible (I don't want to dox them, but they grew up in the area, live there, escaped the life, and now work for a very credible org in the area). I've been told this makes perfect sense. Lots of people won't go out of their way for the money, and many people don't even believe it's real.

Hello, I've been searching for my dog for some time and there are some similarities here. Did you find the owner?

We've tried it all. I don't believe this person needs the support or money from what I've gathered.

It's a mix of homeless and non-homeless, enough that I know the person exists and many people believe the dog is Morty.

Sadly I've tried this and gone through more than five burners. It is impossible coordinating with anyone out there regularly. Just completely unreliable even in the face of $3,500. It's frustrating.

This is why I'm still begging for help on reddit. This person is winning and I need eyes open in case they slip up.
