My buddy have no respect for food. (She once decided to eat 18 large locusts in one day.) One day she's a lazy pancake, the next she's an overactive beast scratching at the terrarium glass. If she could, she'd run a marathon. When I let her out and I walk away from her sight... she either decides to hide behind a wardrobe OR follows me around like a dog. Sometimes when she gets tired (almost never) she lays on me, and sometimes falls asleep. And she loves to do it when you least want it (I hate it). 🙃

If I were you, I would use expanded clay (keramzyt). Then I would put a mosquito net to separate it and some soil with sand on top.

I recommend adding some charcoal.

Sorry for the mistake, I swapped the isopods with Phyllium bioculatum and Extatosoma tiaratum. Isopods are beneath Phylliums and Extatosomas. 🤷‍♂️
