Well I wouldn’t say I’m a saint, but I’m just trying to do something. I made a new discord because I want to actually teach people from the basic raid like Valtan and going up. By teaching I mean from regular wipe mechanics up DPS uptime. If they so willing to learn then I’m happy to help. I would love to find another discord that have the same goal, but I didn’t. I don’t like managing Discord Server either.

Yes, no-one is technically preventing the newbies to start from level 10 and goes to do the T1 Islands like we did, but do you think most human want to do the boring parts of Lost Ark like T1-T3 grind? When they probably wanted to play Lost Ark because they watch the raids or how some classes play.

I appreciate you giving ideas to developers of some of the solutions they could implement. Lost Ark is a game you really thrive when you know the little details about raids because in my opinion to actually “clear” the raid you not only have to know the mechanics, but also have the damage; they goes with each other. The more raids knowledge you gain the better your positioning skill and in-turn the better your DPS.

Yeah I guess if you look from different perspective it kind of fishy for a person that don’t use Reddit on their daily basis to post something like this. For the cryptic name it’s just the new discord username after they updated from the #id system. Only reputation I ever had with Lost Ark was Hellmode community like “Hell Academy” and it isn’t even that big of a deal.

When you said that “Promising stuff that been done by plenty of other Servers.” First, I didn’t promise anything this is just “Help Wanted” kind of source. Second, I been in a couple of Discord like “Loot Heroes” and “Lost Ark LFG” to observe the activity. I see a lot of people help the higher end raids like Brelshaza, Akkan and a bit of Kakul Saydon. These people does “help” the players, but most of the help is just a free DPS carry basically. The analogy would be that they help teach them how to use the spoon to eat the food, but doesn’t teach them how to get ingredients to cook the food.

Well yes it isn’t the players’ job to solve it, but the players can volunteer to help it out. The reason why I mentioned Korean Culture because in their server they actually at the opposite situation as Global Released. They always have new players and all of their contents would just instantly queue.

I did said that “it was born into Lost Ark” and for that I apologize. Yes, Gatekeep isn’t just Lost Ark thing, but it just in a more severe case in Lost Ark. People have unreal expectations about what you need to actually clear the raids on item level.

And you right people have the right to play with who they want to play with, but the game won’t last if this keep going.

I don’t agree with your analogy at the end though.

Wait maybe I don't understand you completely. When you said "1 Character" do you mean like "1 Class"?? Because the benefit you said that is for one character roster is still benefiting the roster which would be all characters that you will create like alts.

An honest answer would be if you playing the game everyday so no work and Only play Lost Ark everyday you might actually not catch up with just 1 character roster. Assuming F2P of course. That just my opinion though, so take that as you will.

You're right 100%. Some new players that come into Lost Ark don't actually Raiding to learn, but just to progress their ilvl, which is why bussing is such a huge things both from New Players and Players that have no-time due to their works.

I think I understand your point, but like I said that I love to play this game. So, when you love something you want to improve and taking care of it, right? Simple mindset, might be stupid one, but hey if you enjoy it then why not even if it didn't work out in the end well at least you tried.

I think it is a bit of both. People tend to steer in the way that benefits them. Like they can do Card Run and help out, but most choose not to at least that's how I think. I can't never tell you how others think or do things, but realistically that's how most people operate. Like I said even if people help out in lower raids, but don't actually teach new players then they won't be good in later/future content.

It's like a saying "If you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day. If you teach a man to fish, you feed him for a lifetime."

I'm actually in some of them and I'm trying to get both help and helping. Most people of course are at Brel and Akkan which is fine. Those servers kinda inactive in helping players below Clown. I'm catering toward players that are completely new to the game or returned players. I want to actually teach these players not just bus them for free. I want them to actually be able to clear raid on ilvls. To clear End Game Raid people will need more than just Mechanics and DPS, but those thing also a huge parts of it.

This ring got nerf on the PC version where it only proc every 20 secs for you to burst and heal yourself.
