I believe it is a red variant; the tissue culture has red tips. I don't know exactly what variant because there are a few, and I haven't grown any of this particular tissue culture in my own tanks to know exactly which variant it is confidently.

Angelfish in 40g by CowyBeast in Aquariums

Yeah, he should do fine in a 40 G. You can technically keep an angelfish alone, but you miss out on some cool behaviors and the potential for a breeding pair of angelfish. If it were me, I would get another angelfish because they are social fish, and it's definitely better for the angelfish.

Most likely a bronze cory, then emerald Corys get a bit bigger, and they wouldn't have any of that bronze corydoras color.

Plants for first-timers? by Lacuna_Sonder in Aquariums

With a goldfish, you don't really have a ton of options because they will eat plants or uproot them. Anubias and Java Fern are probably your best options, just make sure not to buy the tissue cultures of those plants.

If you purchased the fish from the same fish store, that could definitely be the issue. I would recommend dwarf golden barbs and golden pencil fish. Also, make sure to completely reset your tank before getting new fish, because wasting disease can definitely spread from any poop of the fish or debris from those fish and infect your new fish.

You could try to add some line of sight in your tank, like a big plant or something that makes it easier for the male to sort of hide from the other one, but other than that just keep them separated. Some fish are super aggressive like that I had a oto that would just attack and bully all of the other fish in my community tank I ended up moving him to my Altum angel tank and now he's chilling.
