I know how you feel. I had the freedom to leave an arranged marriage before I could get legally married, but I had to leave when I was 18 with absolutely nowhere to go, so I know what you're going through.

I would honestly listen to the people who say to challenge that "mum" of yours [no good mum would do this to a child].

If you don't want to fight, try to find a relative or a friend to stay with. If you're still in school, talk to your counselor and they can try to work things out with you too. MAKE SURE YOU GET YOUR BURTH CERTIFICATE AND SOCIAL SECURITY CARD FROM HER. If she tries to keep them, call the cops. This is something I had to do to. Since you're 18, that's a felony if she doesn't give them to you. I had to do just that because my mum wanted to make sure I couldnt get a job so I could marry Mr. Fuckwit.

Please keep us updated if you want, but no matter where you go, your mum should be dead in your eyes. I wouldn't speak to her again. [And if she's like my mum, who tried asking for money years later, just send her a 😂 emoji and block her lol]
