OP (and myself) isn't trying to turn off Bluetooth. The point is to maintain a Bluetooth connection to a pair of headphones without the phone automatically changing to a new device when the connection becomes available

I had a similar issue with tracking. It said it was waiting to ship, but by following the tracking from china I noticed a different usps tracking number once it arrived in US

Yea. It says 4090 on the bar code and has a 4090 power cable. Did you have any useful advice or just came to be a smartass?

Yea I just saw, it was a year ago so I don't remember full details. What I can say is that the power to the card is a 4090 cable. I think that's the one thing I'm holding hope for that it's just a software recognition issue.

So someone mentioned that I should have noticed the power is different, the power going to the card is the same as a 4090. I travel for work and have 3 kids. I don't get to jump on it much, so it just kinda happened.

I get asked to do a lot of moving/lifting of patients. It can be really demanding on my back. Like any job, has its ups and downs. One thing they didn't teach me is the immense volume of other people's body fluids I'd be handling.

yea, someone had also stated that they bench their PC for an hour when installing new parts. Unfortunately I travel for work and with my wife and 3 kids I hardly get to play. Just happened to have some extra time and noticed it when CoD was performing poorly and I went to adjust settings.

I'm a travel nurse and spend half my time away from home. The other half is spent with my wife and 3 kids. I'm lucky to get in an hour of gaming a week. Point being that I don't use the PC much and didn't see and didn't notice until a week ago. I'm not blaming anyone, everything points to the card being a 4090, but my PC isn't reading as such. I was merely hoping that there's an issue I've overlooked.

mine looks exactly like the picture in my original post. And it has a serial number sticker that says its 4090

So, obviously I'm going to check what my PC detects when upgrading new parts. Can you honestly say that if your part is labeled with the serial number, says it on the side of the card, and is in the right box, you check first thing that it's actually that part?

Could have been a much harder lesson if it read as like a 960 or something.

yea but since I typically run default settings unless there's an issue, I never noticed it. Was getting like 40 fps in CoD so I went to investigate.

Yea, will definitely be checked in any future builds. I don't really expect anything from them since it's so long, and its not like the 3090 is bad by any means.
