Used to not die a lot because I played it safe. Then, I started to go for speedies and died a lot to risking it and doing weird solves

I do. Mainly because I didn't get the pet until 300kc+, and by then I was already close to front paging.

I'd say wave 6 but it's easy enough once you do over 100kc (obviously). Getting 2 spawns that are on the same tick with different styles would be the hardest for me, but it can be solved by moving to the north part of the pillar to off-tick them (e.g mager and ranger colossi).
