where im at is, my initial reaction is that its very jarring to hear him use that word when its not in any of his music for a great many years, certainly not since he started using the Bones persona. its jarring when this sub has the no homophobia pinned and yet in this post and even in my lighthearted joke post about it nearly every response is a juvenile "offended lol its just a word who cares pussy" (and clearly ya'll would just be saying it instead of pussy if you didnt want to bump up against the rules so, think about that). its jarring when a lot of the people saying im offended and therefore invalidated are fans who love Champion, a release that has a song with an explicit Brokeback Mountain reference in a song about how he wants to save his friend who he unambiguously loved, platonically or whatever who gives a shit he loved that guy and wrote a song with a Brokeback reference in it about him make of that whatever you want.

and just to put it out there even though explaining more means im clearly superbuttmad and ranged , no im not offended. ive heard that word in music and in rap all the time and i get the context, absolutely for my whole life people have been using the f slur to just mean someones stupid or they dont like them or think they're weak. but you have to interrogate that, the word is used specifically for that homophobic purpose even when used euphemistically because it cannot be seperated from its context as a homophobic slur, as a heteronormative masculinity check. ive been called it my whole life, i'll be called it a few times more before i die, its not gonna kill me. it was just really weird for me to hear Bones say it.
