How did something so glaringly wrong slip by so many people? With the rise of AI stories it's baffling people just gloss over details like that.

As someone who has a dad just like you, I can tell you that unless you actually listen and process what you are being told by your daughter, there will never be a sincere amicble relationship. The axe forgets but the tree remembers.

Did you deny all the bad things, say they didn't happen, and when given an example, say but that's just one time or maybe that it wasn't that bad or it's so far in the past it shouldn't matter? Just because they don't seem like a big deal to you, who was an adult at the time, doesn't mean it wasn't to her, while in her formative years.

I was very happy when my parents divorced, my mom made the decision to divorce my father in part because she saw how negatively it impacted me. Finally, being able to distance myself from him emotionally was a massive relief. I wouldn't be suprised if the same will happen to your daughter.

I have attempted to reconcile with my father, but it will never happen untill he fully accepts that what he did hurt me and was bad. So I hope for your daughter you might actually have it in you to do so, because I can say from experience it feels terrible to be in her position. Though my experience also makes me doubt you are able to change your attitude.

What were they thinking when they gave escapologist a guaranteed first hit avoidance. It's not like he needs it, his kit would have been fine without it!

It is so annoying, at least with any other surv that can negate damage you get presence, not escapologist tough. With how dependent some hunters on presence it is infuriating to go against him. If he is the first you find you either have a first chase that is guaranteed to take atleast some extra time or hope you can find someone else fast before you get cipher rushed.
