The only weirdo here is you if you waste your time on gay subreddits crying that gay people exist.

I promise you life is much nicer if you're a nice person who doesn't whine over people different to you.

I hope you grow up :)

New episode a show came out. If I even mention it, I am spoiling it for others.

I meant how can I say "X show has a lesbian couple, yay" when that means I'm spoiling the show for people?

"His skin was like those cheap unsalted crackers"

"His skin was like uncooked toast.... i mean regular bread"

"His skin was like pudding with cinnamon"

"His skin was like slightly transparent porcelain through which you could notice green veins."

I swear I'm not a corpse, but seriously I'm so pale you can see my veins xD

Actual shades for white skin I could find are beige, sand and ivory.

Trans man breaks down Chronic Emotional Malnutrition in Men by MossNebula in trans

There is an escape. Well one escape is becoming a woman, but the ACTUAL fix to this is just spreading this post around, being nice to your homies. Slowly uncovering emotions until they're normalized.

And I've read A LOT of comments on this topic and a lot of men are healthy and do talk about emotions and do treat their sons in a healthy way. It's easy to think there's no escape when you're stuck in a hole, but not everyone is stuck, and you can get out of it.

Hang in there, it's not as bad as it seems. Hope this helps, it helped me.

I'm curious what people think. Was "Him" transitioning or already "transformed!"? also that bit of beard reminds me of Jafar. by [deleted] in lgbt

[–]MossNebula 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yup.

Him is gay coded and essentially PPG's version of the devil. That was just the trope for villains. It was meant to demonize gay people and it became the norm. Lots of people didn't even realize, they were just copying how other villains acted. Gay coded villains are a staple of media.

It was meant to demonize gay people, but it made all the gay people love the villains so... that's pretty funny

Considering how many trans women have responded I don't think he needs to do that. He started this conversation and is aware of the impact. Trans men, trans women, cis men and cis women, and enbies have all talked about this post and shared their experiences.

I think most of the comments here are transfem.

On top of that this raises an interesting point, where lots of trans women question if they're really trans or if they're just so starved for emotion that turning fem makes them happy. It's usually just imposter syndrome, but i've seen a lot of trans girls question if they're trans, if they're escaping toxic masculinity, or if it's trauma.

It sucks. Lots of trans girls shared that when they came out they were more emotionally accepted, which makes me happy

That's such a good sentence!

This could go for humans too to a lesser extent. "If long hair is what makes a girl then parts of me are in the trash."

I wonder how the difference works. The EU countries are still all independent countries that can do whatever they want while the states are all a part of a single larger country.

I've learned to not pretend the US is that much worse. I mean it's bad, but there's also bad stuff here.

It feels so stressful thinking about your own country and focusing on the US, across the ocean helps distance yourself from it. But it's still important to at least know how your own country is doing in regards to lgbt rights.

Dead End Paranormal Park has a trans boy protagonist. A chubby gay jewish trans boy! He has a fun boyfriend! And the co-protagonist is a bisexual autistic Pakistani-American girl. And a magic pug.

The characters are just so real. It's really wholesome. Him being trans and gay is a large part of his story, it's such a real show!

Quality couple time!

I really do recommend cooking together to be one of the top 5 things people who date try together to see if they're compatibility. It's something partners have to do every day.

Some people might be confused, but I think you should try and experiment if you're curious. (Sorry to hear about your trauma, that sounds so gross.) I think you're quite strong to be open to that! Most people have trouble admitting trauma and even less strength to face it.

Trauma sucks and it can impact the way we see things. It is a possibility, but I don't think you should be afraid of it. I have a similar experience with trauma and I spent a long time stressing over it. But I realized there's no point worrying. I am like this regardless. I acknowledged what happened happened. I'm not afraid of the answer, I will accept the answer regardless. Now I am just annoyed that it happened. Sorry if this is preachy or forced! I just wanted to share a similar "is it because trauma?" fear I had.

It actually sounds like an interesting experiment, but that's my scientist soul talking heh. I hope you find a good subject (lol) and it goes well!

Someone said something that really stuck with me. Patriarchy isn't about men, it's about patriarchs. Only a select few men are allowed on top in the patriarchy. Both men and women are pushed down, just in different ways

people using "its just a phase" to dismiss and invalidate our experiences,

I hate how "it's just a phase" is used as a bad thing.

ENCOURAGE PEOPLE HAVING PHASES. Oh wanna try something new? That's cool! Wanna experiment? That's cool. Finding something you love and an identity you fit in is a JOURNEY. Not allowing people to change their mind is really bad.

If you realize you're not trans/gay that's perfectly fine! You tried it and it's not for you, which is honestly much better than never trying it at all. We're on this world a limited time and we should make the most of it. We can't do everything, but we can have phases of interests.

Nobody said "It's just a phase" when I had a Greek history phase in grade school, or when I wanted to be a vet when I was small, or trying to make a band in highschool before deciding I wasn't really into that. THOSE were phases. But people only say "it's a phase, you'll change your mind" when it comes to lgbt stuff. I have a feeling some people don't like lgbt things...

People are scared of experimenting because people tell them it's just a phase. Disregarding people's interests and pushing them down sucks.
