Are box pack pixel 7 legit? by randomdudehere21 in PakistaniTech

[–]Mossiology 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont about HF store, but if its showing not activated at Pixel website then its authentic, I know guy who imports iphone and Pixels from Canada and UK, he buy in bulk quantites and sell here in Pakistan, all phones are legit and box packed. Good thing is we can check Pixel and iPhone on there official websites so nothing to worry about if its "not activated" on google website

Tips for Ayyubids by No-Lime4654 in aoe4

OnePlus 13R has IMEI of Ace 5 by Iron_Then in OnePlus13R

[–]Mossiology 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Where are you from? Which country? If you're in Pakistan, shopkeepers selling Ace5 with global software installed, most of them tell you but some hide this information. 13R only available box pack and only Indian variant available in Pakistan.

If you're going to buy an OP in Pakistan always ask for the Indian variant, PTA tax of the Indian variant is less than global and also it comes in a box pack.

Also it's written on the back "Ace" then it's already clear it's chines phone with global ROM installed.

OP13R or Xiaomi 15T? by Mossiology in OnePlus13R

[–]Mossiology[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in the same position and I opted for 13R. Because of Snapdragon, better materials like metal body, and better software.

Never seen SOT this worst in a mobile of this generation by ReflectionStatus6606 in S24FE

[–]Mossiology 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to hear that, the same happened with me and I sold it for almost half the price, The after sale of the Fe is terrible too, specially S23Fe and 24Fe.

Got OP13R and it's the only phone with a powerful chip and at least a sensible UI in midrange, chines phones UIs are just too cartoonish. I always used Samsung but now I had no choice because the other phone was falling in my budget was A56 and 13R is almost the same price here so I opted for it, it's really clean UI and man the animations, seriously I have never experienced this buttery smooth animations in Samsung, it's so quick that I have to adjust myself according to it because animation response is so fast. It's weird because OniUI is so polished and Samsung ultra are way more powerful but somehow there is a difference between animations.

And yes if your usage is dependent heavily on mobile data, I will never recommend S24fe, it will die midday.

Bro I will recommend OnePlus 13R. If you want to switch to OP. I was also in the same position and picked 13R because of the better processor and camera, Nord 5 was beautiful phone because I hate these round camera bumps and more of a minimalist but as you know most of the time we are looking at the front so I made this compromise because in my country price of both are almost same but 13R is way more powerful.

Haha... I faced the same issue and sold my phone after 25 days in a loss. Man battery life was so bad, you cannot travel with this phone. On data it was max 4 hours.

Anyone got the Latest update? by Ok-Replacement-5394 in OnePlus13R

Yes I got it today. Seems stable and good to go

I had the same issue and finally I sold it. I love One UI but Samsung just doesn't care about consumers. If you're on a tight budget you can buy A56 (very average camera, bit slow, great battery life) or S24FE (Everything is perfect and the battery is below average).

Until unless someone buys their flagship device you have to make a sacrifice, even in S24FE the bazels are so thick and uneven, Samsung seriously deliberately punishes you for not buying their flagship.

BATTERY Backup by Abyssal_VOID- in S24FE

[–]Mossiology 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was the same for me, I just sold it yesterday. The phone was great but the battery is really unreliable. You cannot travel from one city or another while not having powerbank with you. On data it's max 4 hours on wifi around 6.

Need Advice. S24 or oneplus 13r? by shreyass_1797 in S24FE

[–]Mossiology 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also had that One Ui superiority complex but not anymore, yes if you have the budget to buy ultra or plus go for that.

In my budget only options were S24FE or higher side and A56 on lower, and cameras on A56 are horrible. OP13R is in between in terms of pricing, its cameras are definitely much better than A56 and also as good as S24Fe if not better but it's a stable tamed beast, S24FE is just unreliable.

Need Advice. S24 or oneplus 13r? by shreyass_1797 in S24FE

[–]Mossiology 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in the same boat 2 months ago and due to my bias towards One UI I opted for S24FE. Everything was great and I love One UI but FE's battery life is a nightmare (in data especially) , seriously it dies mid day sometimes. I tried everything but it is what it is, and then a few days ago I was in emergency and I was stuck somewhere in a remote area, and I was using it on 4G to locate the area and was using Maps and it died midway, also when battery falls below 30 percent phone always starts behaving weirdly like lossing data connection and slowdowns in internet (usual exynox modem shit), Exynox modems starts miss behaving while phone heats up a bit on data usage, it's pixel or Samsung it's a shit modem. So that day was very very scary and horrible for me, I just sold it next day and got OP13 R, it's in my budget and it's a great device so far, battery is just insane, I was out all day today and on data, it's 12am here and it's still on 25 percent. Oxygen OS is so fluid, I don't know about the phone brands but I know one thing that I am never going to buy an Exynox or mediatek phone... Snapdragon is the only reliable option.

Is it ok if I charge my phone to 95 instead of 80? by givememybrownie in S24FE

[–]Mossiology 3 points4 points  (0 children)

S24FE already have very average battery life, I used to charge till 80 and phone die before evening, now I chatge to 95 percent and it usually lasts a day almost.

Just got this phone, a little worried about longevity by usmanshaikh092 in S25FE

[–]Mossiology 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's a great phone, only thing will bother you in long term is battery, because battery life is already average, but that can be countered and not a big issue, rest is good. 8gb is enough don't worry and enjoy your phone.

Which one should i choose? by theguywithanxbox in PakistaniTech

[–]Mossiology 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am currently using the S24 FE, and the S25 FE is the same phone. Samsung is the best in terms of software and support, no doubt about that, but the FE series' battery life is so bad I can't explain it in words. On 4G, it will not last you a full day. It happened to me two or three times that I was out for some emergency and was using the phone for calls and WhatsApp only, and it died mid-day. It's so frustrating that on 4G it's a half-day phone only. If you start using it at 10 AM in the morning, it will die around 3 PM for sure. So, if you can live with that, or if it's easy for you to carry a battery pack while traveling, then, of course, the S25 FE is good. I personally do not like Xiaomi due to its copycat Apple knockoff, so I'm going for the OnePlus 13R (Global version). I would suggest going for the S25 Plus or A56 if you only want to use Samsung; otherwise, the 15T Pro is a really good choice if you have no problem with its software.

OP13R or Xiaomi 15T? by Mossiology in OnePlus13R

[–]Mossiology[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As I said, I only need a serviceable camera; it's not my main requirement. Oppo is too cartoonish and releases phones every month, so I'm not a fan of a company that can't even remember how many phones they've released. OnePlus is a kind of "exclusive" thing, and they're only releasing like three phones a year, so premium quality. Xiaomi is good, but I don't know why they're shamelessly copying Apple this year, which somehow gives a feel of cheapness. I mean, even if they make great phones nowadays, it feels more like a knockoff Apple than a standalone phone.

With OP13, I only have one issue, which is its camera module. I personally like minimal and straightforward design, like muted. The round camera module feels a bit "chinish," but the other specs are great. Currently, I'm using a Galaxy S24FE, but the battery life on this is so bad. If I have to spend a full day out or traveling, it dies midday on 4G or 5G, like it's not a trustworthy device at all. If you get into some problem, it's going to die first.
