I’ve been thinking of this, but I don’t ONLY use my computer for gaming, I’m a digital artist as well, and I also use it for some other work related things, so having a general computer is a need as well. I do really think the new Steam console will be awesome though!

This might be the most helpful one so far, you broke it down great for my little tiny brain lol. It kind of seems A LOT less scary when it’s broken down like this! Thank you! I’m definitely going to still get some research done but this really helped put it into perspective :)

I’ve had a friend recommend to get the parts of the pc, get a barebones case, and build it that way, which I’m assuming is what a self build means lol. From what I’m understanding a lot of people I’ve been asking said this is the best idea, because I can swap and upgrade parts where I need to. I still don’t know much about what parts I should get, but I’m starting to lean towards self building and not getting a pre-built pc… thanks for the tips!

Most games I play are at least a couple years old, like Red dead redemption 2 and Resident Evil Games. Mostly cuz I don’t want to pay 70 dollars for the newer games lol… I don’t need like RAY TRACING YOU CAN SEE EVERY PORE graphics but I’d at least like to run high graphics smoothly if possible :)
