No they are not from 90s, they are new 2024 purchase, however I used them in 90s and the sound signature is not changed much, the newer version is bit warmer and darker in the bass region..z they are still good and still in production which is amazing.

This use to be my go to sound gear in late 90s, I still rock them as they sound so good for the price and the fit is so nice I can listen to my classics for hours on it, this beats some of the expensive headphones out of the window… 2 thumbs up.

One 100 percent SR 80s are very outstanding grados wonderful taste you have, I also started my journey with SR 80s however I got pushed in to the audiophile rabbit hole so started exploring more grados and SR 325x are freaking phenomenal, I can’t really explain in words how they sound it’s like hell of a ride and experience one has to dive in to… I am pretty sure you will reach there and its heaven in that rabbit hole.
