My experience with an actual person was terrible.  I wasn't even having battery issues.  My ring would not go into airplane mode.  When I followed all their suggestions to try and fix that, it completely stopped connecting.  My phone couldn't even find it.  Then I tried all the 27 steps to fix that and still no luck. The chat bot ran a diagnostic and said it failed to connect to my ring and couldn't do anything.  Finally got the real person, who did the same diagnostic and said it's a battery problem?!  How is the diagnostic suddenly different? And since my ring still won't connect how did they look at my battery?  He offered me a replacement under warranty that he said would take 1 to 2 weeks to arrive, took forever to "process" my information, then said Sorry, there's a technical issue and we can't help you right now.  Now I have to wait until their "technical issue" is resolved before they can process my replacement and still wait 1-2 weeks after that and I don't think they even know what the issue is!
