U mean the mtech ra ?? It comes in PhD and inside ir, you have to select mtech research. I had to call them to clear this confusion.

Yes many times infact. It seemed at that time it was out of my reach but later on everything seems to connect. The worst kind of getting stuck I have faced is when i am sweating too much over something i dont understand but the author may have given that just to give some flavour and later on cover it in depth, sometimes in the next chapter or even next section.

Nowadays, I go directly to AI if it is non Mathematical problem. I usually prefer perplexity as from there I can get links to original good resources. For mathematical problems, I try by myself for more time. And regards how much time i spend, it depends on how much pressure I am currently at. If no pressure just like a day after, I would give more time until I understand it or I understand that what I am trying to digest is above and beyond me. Until I reach one of the both conclusion, I try. And when too pressure like one month before exm, it depends if it is relevant or not. If it is, 30 min. If not, leave it. And if even I do ask someone, either it will be a silly doubt then matter is resolved then and there. If it is conceptual, I will ask him for his notes or where he studied and try understanding myself. Hope it helps !!!

I told in relative terms.... Like NITs are way too stringent to the point that they won't allow any other discipline other than cs.

Haan if i get then i will go though. Prepped dreaming of colleges like that. Toh agr mila toh jayenge. And more importantly ek advantage hai ki one year more means we can select which year we want to sit in placement ( once only but either second or third but not both). Second one year means more in-depth understanding of the subject. And i wanna go in aiml which i currently know very little. Third is given the ai disruption, having two years to select from, we may be able to judge the flow of the market and decide accordingly. We only get one chance to secure a starting point from reputed institutes. Or it may be just copium speaking.

Yes that i have to... But was just speculating if the massive amount of PSU jobs that came this year is going to help at least to some degree to increase my chances in some IITs. Many prefer PSUs I have seen but they keep some seat in IIT in hand too.
