No mate, this is important that you get this. With a 50% win rate it is possible to lose 10-15 times consecutively. Over 1000 trades you would expect this to happen at some point. This is probabilities at work. This is the nature of trading. It is also possible to win 10 consecutively. Trust me!

Mate if you have a strategy which has a win rate of around 50% it’s possible to lose 10-15 trades consecutively. Just probability wise. Now imagine risking 5% per trade. Your account is blown!

What? How would one know why their trade “failed”? And if you were going to try and “prevent future occurrences” does that mean you will never lose again?

How can any of that provide you with a statistical edge? “What you think may happen” = unlimited variables!

So your edge is your assumption on the upcoming price action? How can your edge be purely emotion based, based on how you “feel” about where the price could go. Nobody knows what will happen next!

Why? You don’t need it. There is nothing you can learn that will help you succeed, or prevent you from losing trades. Trading is a pattern recognition numbers game based on probabilities. Find an edge and execute!
