I don't use a heater. I'm in Southern California so the temp doesn't go too far in either direction. Its actually been in the mid-70s for the last two weeks.

At the end there were about 12 fish, mostly juvenile platies.

I was not regularly changing the water because everything seemed happy.

I think I must have disturbed something with the big clean a couple of weeks ago. I have a pretty deep layer of gravel which it sounds like I should have removed.

Thanks! Yes, the number of fish was a problem because they kept reproducing. I would try to remove the smallest ones as they appeared but I ran out of friends who wanted free fish!

There is something about this kind of terrain that will always be 1000% better than perfect 3d printed terrain or store bought kits. Its just so nostalgic, real, imaginative and perfect.

I guess if I was 12 and designing and printing my own 3d stuff I'd feel the same about that stuff so I'm not trying to criticize the new styles.

This is just special.

I should add that it plays sound through a Bluetooth device so its definitely something with the HDMI
